What is involved in joining a Care Group? First, promise to pray for 5 minutes every day for the individuals in your group by name! James 5:16 reminds us to “Pray for one another.” We want everyone in our church to be prayed for, and the Care Group Ministry helps us achieve that.
Second, commit to help the people in your group. We want to make sure that everyone in our church feels cared for. Galatians 6:2 tells us to “Bear one another’s burdens.”
Through this ministry, you will be serving and caring for people in your group! How can you do this? Check in on someone if they are missing from church or if they are sick, grieving, or facing tough times. Also, celebrate each other’s happy moments! Romans 12:15 says, “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.”
Make sure to reach out not only during hard times but also during joyful moments, like when there’s a new baby, a wedding, or a graduation. These are times for us to celebrate together as a church family! Remember to share in both sorrow and joy, as we “weep together and rejoice together.” (Romans 12:15).
Are you ready to join or lead a Care Group? How can you join? Simply sign up at church! You will be blessed, and you will also be a blessing to others!
